The PGA Jr. League All-Star Season highlights the aspirational nature of competition, celebrated in a way unique to PGA Jr. League. Ultimately, it’s a celebration of PGA Jr. League as a whole, and all competitions are designed to have a fun, family-friendly and festival-like atmosphere.
The All-Star Season is comprised of 13u and 17u All-Star teams formed from a combination of players from each of the teams in a local league.
All-Star players must meet specific age, mileage and player eligibility requirements in order to join an All-Star team. Once the teams are composed, there are multiple opportunities to compete and make their way through the competitive pathway.

The PGA of America is dedicated to setting a standard of excellence in youth sports, aspiring to make a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of young athletes. Guided by
Golf's American Development Model (ADM), we strive to offer an enriching and inclusive environment that prioritizes the comprehensive development of each participant. By nurturing well-rounded individuals, we aim to inspire a lifelong love of the game while also fostering personal growth both on and off the course. With that in mind, there are two things to note as you aspire to the All-Star Season.
Minimum Age Requirement
Golf's ADM is a proven and transformational long-term athlete development philosophy created to ensure the well-being of our children and the future of of our sport. While some young athletes may possess the physical literacy to compete in the All-Star Season, ADM considers the whole athlete, including emotional and mental well-being. A key factor is the pressure that children might face if advancing to a National Championship with a live broadcast component.
Mileage Requirement
PGA Jr. League is a community-based program designed to bring friends and families together to play golf under the leadership of PGA of America Golf Professionals. This values-based policy ensures that teams and leagues, including All-Star teams, are locally focused to include players from within the community—which is also in alignment with Golf's ADM. In order to be eligible for All-Star Season participation, All-Star players must play in a local PGA Jr. League program that is within 75 miles of either their residence or the school in which they are enrolled.
